Dreampower Art Works, located in the San Luis Valley of southern Colorado, promotes the sculptures, paintings, prints and quilts of Kathy Park and the paintings, drawings, prints, and design work of Henry Woolbert. We're recently collaborating on a series of sculpted, painted and decorated mask forms, which you can check out by clicking on the collaborations image to the right.
We have been doing business and living in the village of Jaroso since 1994. Each September we show our work at the annual Rio Costilla Studio Tour, which you can check out at www.riocostillastudiotour.org
We also tend an organic garden with garlic as our cash crop. We make healing balms from plants and herbs we grow ourselves. In the spring of 2006 we built a 26 foot geodesic dome greenhouse which we purchased as a kit from the amazing dome folks of Pagosa Springs through www.growingspaces.com . Now we're eating fresh salad greens and zucchinis even in winter!
We also offer Aikido classes to kids and adults through Alamosa Family Recreation Center on Saturday mornings. A family class for kids and adults starts at 9, and adult aikido at 10:30. Please call for more information.
